Important Changes to AdWords Platform

At first I questioned this but have since verified that Google have announced changes to the AdWords platform that will see up to 4 ads served at the top of the page, none in the RH sidebar and up to 3 at the bottom of the page.

So instead of seeing up to 9 and in some cases, 11 ads on the results page, you will now only see a maximum of 7.

Depending on your desired outcomes, this makes position far more important then ever before as being at the bottom of the page is akin to putting a billboard in the Antarctic; cheap no nobody will see it!

As I understand, there will still be no more than 3 ads served on mobile devices.
